Turn off my computer
And turn off my phone
Today I'm gonna live life alone
Hop into my shower
And sing myself a song.. or two
There's nothing else I need to do
I'm gonna take a little walk
And do a dance in the park
I'm gonna sip on warm lattes
In a sweet little cafe
Oh wouldn't it be nice
To live life this way everyday
Climb up the mountain
And wait for the sunset
I'm feeling just a little regret
Sink into the moment
Let me wait for the moon and stars
While I strum on my guitar
I'm gonna gaze at stars above
And think of people that I love
I'm gonna lay down, close my eyes
And let you take me by surprise
Oh wouldn't it be nice
To live life this way everyday

absolutely beautiful sherren. i often think those very same thoughts, but i don't think i could ever articulate them as beautifully as you just did.
